農會是什麼

農會是中華民國特有的農民社團法人組織，也是經營多功能、多目標、的綜合性事業體，其性質兼具教育性、經濟性、金融性。目前臺灣各級農會合計302個，每個農會均為獨立的社團法人，農會是公益性質的社團法人。不是政府機構，是民間組織，性質上屬於所謂的非政府組織。是農民的代言人，也是保障農民權益的團體，是政府與農民溝通的重要媒介，並傳播農事法令，接受政府農業行政相關計畫委辦執行。

農會以保障農民權益為宗旨，但農民未必是農會會員，也無強制入會。

為什麼要買農會的商品

(1) 靠天-對商品認識

一個鄉鎮一個農會，一鄉鎮一特色，農會商品代表當地的重要農作物衍生製作出來的商品，具有相當特色和特殊性；例：台南玉井區產愛文芒果，玉井農會有愛文芒果乾情人果干等商品，新竹關西鎮產仙草，關西農會有仙草乾、仙草粉、燒仙草等商品，使用商品不只是使用商品，除了品嚐台灣家鄉味之外，要讓大家都知道台灣的農會有生產好的商品，好東西要與好朋友分享，分享美食分享愛，進而讓全世界都認識台灣。

(2) 靠地-對土地友善

農會的歷史悠久,很多農會設立都超過100年以上，有如百年老店，信譽和商譽皆為重中之重，其所生產的商品皆代表有相當程度的品質，在生產過程中，不濫用農藥，嚴格遵守規範，減少人為破壞環境，與土地保持著良好互動的友善自然農耕方式，讓自然環境永續發展下去，與土地共存共融。

(3) 靠人-對品質堅持

農會的商品，因為堅持品質和商譽，都有受檢驗機構的檢驗，讓消費者在購買的當下，都能夠感受到十足的信賴和保證，買的放心，食的安心、用的安全。
