本會創使於民國七年十月九日，時稱『關帝廟有限責任信用組合』，設立時租賃關廟庄關廟八００番地之方房營業『現山西宮』。

由於『咱的農會』自創立以來，秉持著生命共同體的概念，因此農會所提供農民的服務是全方位的，信用部調整農村資金，發展農村金融的功能，供銷部供應農民農業生產資材、代管公糧等業務，保險部辦理家畜保險業務、農民健康保險等工作，推廣股主要推懬農民改良優良作物品種及技術，使農民達到改良品種增加生產量，提高收益。

近年來因為農業面臨加入ＷＴＯ的衝擊及經濟不景氣之影響，農民收益銳減，農會為了增加農民收益，向行政院農委會爭取經費設置遊客服務中心、食品加工廠、農特產品展售中心及生態休閒林場內多項休閒設施等，除了調節農產品供銷平衡，輔導本區農產品建立自有品牌，打開國際貿易通路，讓農民辛苦的農作行銷全球，增加經濟收入，而鄉內完善設施的休閒景點，也能吸引遊客的湧入，在創造本區產業的另一波新商機。

Our association was established on October 9, 1918, then known as the "Guandi Temple Limited Liability Credit Union," and initially operated in a rented space at No. 800, Guandi Village, under the name "Xian Shanxi Palace."

Since its establishment, "Us Agricultural Association" has adhered to the concept of a community of life, providing comprehensive services to farmers. The credit department adjusts rural funds and develops rural financial functions. The supply and marketing department supplies agricultural production materials to farmers and manages public grain. The insurance department handles livestock insurance and farmers' health insurance. The promotion department mainly encourages farmers to improve crop varieties and techniques, helping them increase production and enhance their income.

In recent years, due to the impact of joining the WTO and the economic downturn, farmers' incomes have sharply decreased. To increase farmers' incomes, the agricultural association has sought funding from the Council of Agriculture to set up tourist service centers, food processing plants, agricultural product exhibition centers, and various recreational facilities within ecological leisure forests. In addition to regulating the supply and demand balance of agricultural products, guiding the establishment of local brands, opening international trade routes, and allowing farmers' hard work to be marketed globally, increasing economic income, the well-equipped recreational attractions in the area can also attract a surge of tourists, creating a new wave of business opportunities for the local industry.
