Sinhua District Farmers Association 新化區農會

新化區農會創始於民國七年之『有限責任大目降信用組合』,其間幾經變革,台灣光復後,至民國三十五年農業會改組並劃分為「新化鎮合作社」與「新化街農業會」,名稱延續至民國三十八年十一月重行合併成為「新化鎮農會」,民國一百年四月二十七日因縣市合併改制為「臺南市新化區農會」。歷經六十餘年的改革蛻變,其演變的歷程,也正是台灣農業發展史的縮影。在瞬息萬變的環境中,農會已趨向於多角化的經營方式,除了傳統服務農民的功能外,更以邁向現代化、企業化 ,為經營的目標。今日的新化農會,仍一本初衷,照顧農友,關心社會,促成和諧、健康、人文薈萃的鄉土面對全方位新時代的來臨,將以『在地的心,實在的情』踏踏實實地經營的目標。

  近年來,此起彼落的金融風波中,基層金融大受衝擊,本會在大環境的變動中,以更積極奮發的精神,以更誠摯的態度,面對一切的逆境,發揮優點,創造新局。為因應台港加入WTO對農友之直接衝擊,更扮演著積極的重要角色.除了大力開發本地之農特產品新化三寶-「蕃薯、鳳梨、竹筍」,並透過產銷班及家政班,研發各種副產品加工,以提升本地農特產品之生機,如自製胡麻油、用土鳳梨做鳳梨酥、金鑽鳳梨做成鳳梨乾,其中『大目降鳳梨乾』更連續多年入選台灣農魚會百大精品。我們知道臺南市大部分的鄉鎮以農業為主,當一般的鄉鎮還在以傳統的方法在做產銷時,新化區農會已將農產品形象化了,藉由新化三寶農業形象塑造,不僅將農產品做了市場區隔,也賦於了農產業新的生命和契機。國人生活品質不斷提升,飲食趨向健康、自然與純樸,新化農會更積極發展有機蔬菜推廣,給本地之農特產品開創了新生命。

  隨著社會環境的改變,本會已從農業氣息濃厚的鄉村轉變為多元化的社區型態,農會業務的發展亦面臨空前的挑戰,推廣、保險等業務也基於社會環境的快速變遷而面臨不得不調整的情況。供銷業務近期將規劃設置農特產品加工、觀光工廠,結合在地文化休閒觀光以及有趣的 DIY 活動,精緻的農特產品展售舖與地方特色伴手禮,滿足您一次購足特產的慾望。

  本會仍本著服務的精神,以永續經營為理念,積極調整各項經營管理方針,期望能『經營現在,創造未來』。

The Xinhua District Farmers' Association was founded in 1918 as the "Limited Liability Damu Jiang Credit Union." After several changes, the Agricultural Association was reorganized in 1946 after Taiwan's restoration and divided into the "Xinhua Town Cooperative" and the "Xinhua Street Agricultural Association." The names continued until November 1949, when they were merged again to become the "Xinhua Town Farmers' Association." On April 27, 2011, it was renamed the "Xinhua District Farmers' Association of Tainan City" due to the merger of the county and city. After more than 60 years of reform and transformation, its evolution process is also a microcosm of the history of Taiwan's agricultural development. In the ever-changing environment, the farmers' association has tended to diversify its operations. In addition to the traditional function of serving farmers, it also aims to move towards modernization and enterprise. Today's Xinhua Farmers' Association still adheres to its original intention of taking care of farmers, caring for society, and promoting a harmonious, healthy, and culturally rich homeland. In the face of the arrival of a new era of all-round development, it will operate with the goal of "local heart, real feelings".

In recent years, the financial turmoil has had a great impact on the grassroots finance. In the changing environment, the Association has faced all the adversities with a more positive and enterprising spirit and a more sincere attitude, and has given full play to its advantages to create a new situation. In order to cope with the direct impact of Taiwan and Hong Kong's accession to the WTO on farmers, the Association has played an active and important role. In addition to vigorously developing the local agricultural specialties, the "three treasures of Xinhua" - "sweet potato, pineapple and bamboo shoots", and through the production and marketing classes and home economics classes, the Association has developed various by-product processing to enhance the vitality of local agricultural specialties, such as self-made sesame oil, pineapple cakes made with native pineapple, and dried golden diamond pineapple. Among them, "Damujiang Dried Pineapple" has been selected as one of the top 100 boutiques of Taiwan Farmers' and Fishermen's Association for many years. We know that most of the townships in Tainan City are mainly agricultural. When the general townships are still using traditional methods for production and sales, the Xinhua District Farmers' Association has already made the agricultural products image. By shaping the agricultural image of the three treasures of Xinhua, not only the agricultural products are market-segmented, but also the agricultural industry is given new life and opportunities. The quality of life of the people in the country is constantly improving, and the diet is becoming more healthy, natural and simple. The Xinhua Farmers' Association is more actively developing the promotion of organic vegetables, which has created a new life for the local agricultural products.

With the changes in the social environment, the Association has transformed from a rural village with a strong agricultural atmosphere to a diversified community type. The development of the Association's business is also facing unprecedented challenges.
